You may contact us at any time by phone or email to request a client status update or verify the authenticity of a Completion Certificate.
As one professional to another, we understand the importance of making our Rethink-a-Drink Alcohol Education class and Minor in Possession (MIP) Alcohol Education Class user‑friendly for both you and your students. Our goal is to support your efforts in helping clients become more productive, less stressed, and crime‑free citizens. Our online alacohol class is one part of the larger work you do, but it can play a key role in helping students make meaningful choices about alcohol use.
Tracking
With our learning management system, we can quickly and easily track and report a student’s performance, progress, and alcohol class completion. You may call us at any time to monitor your student’s enrollment and progress in the alcohol awareness class.
Affordable
Our prices are among the lowest in the field. We understand the financial barriers many people face and believe it is unethical to charge excessive fees. If you refer clients regularly, we can offer your organization ongoing group discount codes or a low annual fee—just ask.
Quality
With the Offender Solutions® reputation for quality, you can be confident that our online Rethink-a-Drink alcohol education class uses best practices, evidence‑based principles, and a cognitive restructuring approach. Our adult alcohol class and underage drinking classes are developed only by experts in their field - not scripted by a professional "writer".
The Rethink‑a‑Drink™ curriculum was developed through the combined 44 years of experience of a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC), a parole officer, a juvenile probation officer, two college instructors, and a juvenile justice system policy analyst. Each role contributed significantly to the style, delivery, and content of our online MIP alcohol awareness class.
Offender Solutions® Referrals
Appropriate referrals to our alcohol awareness / alcohol education class?
You may refer any person to our alcohol class. As a guideline, we recommend Offender Solutions® most adults who do not have significant limitations and for youth who are average, typical, or first‑ or second‑time offenders. We are not suggesting an impact on those who misuse, abuse, or are addicted to alcohol. This is not an evaluation, treatment, or intervention program—our alcohol awareness class is an education and awareness class. All materials are written at approximately a 5th‑grade reading level and classes are/can be read to the user.
Making a Rethink‑a‑Drink™ referral?

Evidence‑Based Research
Implementing Evidence‑Based Practices
Edward Latessa, Ph.D., Center for Criminal Justice Research, states: “Most researchers who study correctional interventions have concluded without some form of human intervention or services there is unlikely to be much effect on recidivism from punishment alone.” He further notes that no reviewer of studies on punishment alone—custody, mandatory arrests, increased surveillance—has found consistent evidence of reduced recidivism.
Using research and evidence‑based interventions is essential not only to demonstrate program effectiveness but also ethically. We believe we have a mission‑critical responsibility to provide the best evidence‑based alcohol education services possible.
What does work?
Research overwhelmingly demonstrates that curricula which:
- use education, and
- follow a cognitive restructuring or cognitive behavior modification model
produce statistically significant results.
Offender Solutions® maintains the belief that all clients must be treated respectfully and are seeking a better life. Our approach helps clients assess their own attitudes, values, and beliefs. Research indicates that the cognitive model increases awareness, leading to attitude change and pro‑social beliefs and behaviors. These changes occur across male and female, juvenile and adult, and low‑, medium‑, and high‑risk clients.
Offender Solutions® has a research, criminal justice, education, and counseling psychology background. All staff are supervised by a Master’s‑level Counseling Psychologist. Our team includes professionals from parole, probation, psychology, social work, counseling, corrections, and research analysis.
